BIOGRAPHY
Short Biography
Fabricia Medeiros holds a bachelor’s degree in Clarinet from the Mozarteum University of São Paulo and graduated in Orchestral Conducting from EMESP Tom Jobim, where she studied under the renowned conductor Cláudio Cruz and served as his assistant with the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra. She has also worked as assistant conductor to maestros such as Fábio Mechetti, Tara Simoncic, Simone Menezes, and Roberto Minczuk, among others.
Her training includes participation in prominent festivals such as the 53rd Campos do Jordão Festival, the 2nd Orchestral Conducting Course in La Serena (Chile), the 14th Minas Gerais Philharmonic Conducting Lab, and the NOI+Festival 2025.
As a guest conductor, she has led the Camerata Fukuda, the São Paulo State Youth Orchestra, and the Rio de Janeiro Youth Orchestra — notably in the 2025 season opening concert featuring pianist Cristian Budu.
She gained recognition by winning the Conducting Competition in La Serena, Chile (2022), and was invited back to conduct OSULS in 2024.
Her engagements also include conducting the São Paulo Municipal Orchestra, directing the opera Cinderella at Theatro São Pedro, and contributing to large-scale productions such as Andrea Bocelli’s tour and the “Discover the Orchestra” series at Sala São Paulo.
